Greetings from Ghana!

Well, it’s hard to believe that Rachel has been here for a week. We will be leaving on Monday July 7th for Accra as Rachel will be flying out on Wednesday for America. Rachel has been working in many of the ministries. She has taught Children’s Bible club in Techiman, Ahansua, Tuobodom, and , hopefully tomorrow, Adutwie. She has taught Sunday school in Tuobodom. Last Sunday she sang a special Twi song for special music in Tuobodom. The Church was amazed that a white person could sing the song so well, while many Ghanaians can’t.

The picture to the left is Rachel teaching Children’s Bible Club. This was a public holiday so we only had about 120 children. The previous two weeks were 180 and 200.

We can now send you pictures again. Rachel brought over four suitcases of things that many of you contributed. Thank you so much! She also brought a new camera to replace the one that broke.

The Adutwie ministry has been a real blessing to us. This is a picture of those who came on Sunday, June 29th. We were missing a few of the church members because the weather was cold for Ghana. We have been experiencing rain almost every day now for two weeks.

The Tuobodom Ministry:
The Lord has been blessing the ministry. We have soul-winning on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons. Many people have come to church and have made a profession of faith. We now have an even bigger job to make these people disciples of Jesus Christ. Below is a picture of Pastor Ameyaw and me explaining the plan of salvation to Florence Ameyaw. She understood and prayed to receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal Savior. Pray for her and her new faith in Christ.

Peterson Family:

We are all doing well physically and are thankful for that. When Rachel leaves, we will feel a certain emptiness. Pray that she is able to come and help in this ministry soon. Also, continue to pray for our support. We have had one of our supporting families increase their support which has helped with the deficit we experienced. We are praying that God will richly bless them for their sacrificial giving to us.

Thank you for your prayers and gifts of loving sacrifice that you offer on our behalf. We are honored to be servants of the King sent by you.

In His Service,
Jim, Dona, Rebecca, Julia, and Rachel
