Good morning, prayer partners, family, & friends.
I would like to very quickly share with you some very important items of prayer.
Please pray for the church plant we are involved with.
We have a few important issues to manage right now. I won't go into details, but God knows the situation and want Him to get the glory through these sensitive issues.
Praise the Lord for the following:- Gloria's salvation decision.
- some new increases in our support.
- the safe arrival of our new coworkers, the Sundbergs, to São Paulo.
- a couple of small financial gifts to help put up handrails and gates and other safety measures.
- continued interest in our church by folks in the neighborhood and the new visiting families.
Please pray for the following:- more salvation decisions by unsaved visitors.
- wisdom for our team as we face some delicate subjects.
- continued spiritual growth of converts.
- numerical growth of church - we have attendance ranging from 75 - 90.
- protection from vandalism to the building. We replaced 6 windows and in less than a week one was broken again.
- good health & safety for our team and families.
- God's leading in sermon preparation, so that we can meet the spiritual needs of the folks.
- a smooth transition as the new school year gets started. That the Lord would provide a teacher for our girls this year.
- our personal financial support level to be met. We are at 86% at this time. The weak dollar and inflation has really set us back in our support account.
- Elizabeth who is dealing with an adulterous husband. The children are facing terrible stress through this too.
Thank you all for taking the time to read our updates and pray for the work of God here in southeastern Brazil. Thank you also to those who help through your financial gifts.
Thank you for your prayers for our ministry and for God's work.
