G'day Mates,
I have just returned from a blessed trip to Australia, where I had the joy of preaching in two wonderful churches for their missions conferences. This was my first time to visit Australia and I was not sure what to expect, but the fellowship and spirit of these two churches for world missions was tremendous.
On the down side I fell sick with malaria while I was there and because of weakness I was not able to wrestle any big Joey's or skin any wild Crocks. But I was assured by some good friends that next time I go I will get the full Aussie experience.
Please pray for our brethren in Australia as they eagerly desire to obey the great commission and send their sons and daughters into the fields of the world with the Good News. We are earnestly praying that God would call one of our Aussie brothers, with his family, to join us in the work here in Ghana.
Could you join us in prayer for our daughter Rosie in the USA? She called me in Australia to inform me that she was in a terrible car accident in Easthampton MA. She hit some ice on the road and went over to the other side and hit a Ford F350 head on. She is banged up pretty bad and has a fractured knee. She also had two of her cousins in the car with her who were also injured. The car is totaled and she is really shook up. We are praising God for preserving their lives.
Yesterday, I was back in Ghana and preached in Techiman and we had the joy of seeing one of our visitor confess Christ as Savior. This week we are holding special evangelistic meetings out in one of our daughter churches in Krobo, please pray for a harvest of souls. Pastor Gilbert Ayaric is the pastor of the church.
Also, while I was gone to Australia, one of our daughter church in Forikrom, pastored by Stepehn Sarfo Adu, held a three day evangelistic outreach. This village has been a Seventh Day Adventist strong hold, but they had 18 people pray to receive Christ as Savior and 8 of these new believers have been faithful in all the church service since the evangelistic meetings. Praise the Lord!
Thank you for your needed prayers and faithful supprot!
For Eternity,
Steve |
