We are using this prayer Card to tie us over until the birth of the little one.
For those of you counting the kids:
Jon is in Georgia, and Rose is in New York, and Samuel is hiding Michelle's tummy.
Dear Friends,
With joy I write to you about another ministry opportunity in Monrovia, Liberia. Our church in Ghana had the joy of both training and sending Pastor Joe Gueh and his family back to Liberia to start a new church there. In June of this year, I flew over to Liberia with three friends not only to encourage both Pastor Joe Gueh and Pastor Maxwell, but also so the Lord would touch my heart for the great ministry opportunities in this war torn country. Below is a letter from Pastor Joe to me stating the fact that he has found a piece of land for the church. I have asked him to take some pictures of the land and get two other Baptists pastors (friends of ours) to go with him to look at the location and the price. Then I asked them to send me their recommendations about purchasing this lot for a new church.

Dear Pastor Steve
By the grace of the Almighty God, we are doing well here in Liberia. The rains are now gradually going away, and we are about to enter the dry season.
By the grace of God, as you instructed us, we have been given the green light on a piece of land about an acre in size. The price of the land is $5,000.00 (the land at $4,500.00 and the survey with probation cost $500.00). Good land in Monrovia is very hard to come by since almost everyone wants to possess property in the capital, especially those Liberians that have traveled to other countries (Europe and America ). This has caused the prices to go so high.
Please pray with us as we are looking up to the Lord to provide this amount. We continue to plead with the owner to give us a grace period as we look up to the Lord to provide us this money.
We greatly need your prayers.
